What is the course about?
For Y10 and Y11 students only
Our GCSE lessons offer a comprehensive look at GCSE Maths content up to grade 5. The course follows the Edexcel syllabus.
During this year we continually recap on the core concepts and skills required for each topic including exam techniques. By the end of April of Y11 our students are exam ready and will be more confident in knowing how to approach each paper.
At the start of the course students will asked to sit a free online Diagnostic Assessment to allow for the tutor to quickly diagnose and plan the learning for each student. This assessment will need to be completed before the first lesson and can be completed in under an hour.
What will we cover?
- number
- statistics: an examination of how and why they are used
- geometry and properties of shapes
- algebra (linear and quadratic)
- trigonometry including exam techniques
Fees and Schedule
After making your booking, we will contact you to confirm your child’s starting date. The booking that you are making covers the fee for the first month. Should you wish for your child to continue attending lessons after this initial booking, we request that payment is made monthly. Details regarding this will be emailed to you.

| Every Saturday 11:15am-1:15pm Each session is 2 hours long To ensure maximum progress the number of students in a group will not exceed 12. Each 2 hour session follows the structure below: 1. Memory re-cap 2. Developing understanding of the content and consolidation including checking for understanding 3. Application of the knowledge including exam techniques This price includes a study pack that will be given to students each week. This will include ‘Focus Topics’ for students aiming for grade 4 and 5, study materials that are targeted to address gaps in knowledge,weekly assessments packs to develop study skills and exam techniques. | £225 per month |
